The INTO London World Education Centre is an independent study centre, teaching International Foundation, International Year, Graduate Diploma and Pre-masters programmes. On completion of their programme of study, our students progress to universities throughout the UK.

INTO London is currently looking to recruit a passionate and enthusiastic Business Teacher, to teach modules on the Foundation, International Year 1 and Pre-masters Business programmes at our Middlesex Street Centre, London E1.

Subject areas include Business Management, Business Law, Economics, and Human Resource Management.

As Business Teacher, you will have the ability to teach students from a variety of countries and cultural backgrounds, and with different language levels. This is an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic teachers looking to contribute to INTO’s International Programmes which prepare international students for university studies. The role will include teaching through lectures, seminars and tutorial sessions as well as the design and preparation of module content and assessments. You must also provide academic support for international students.

You will ideally have a relevant post-graduate qualification and relevant teaching experience. A teaching qualification is desirable. They must also be highly enthusiastic and have an imaginative and adaptable approach to the delivery of the curriculum area.

As an exceptional teacher, you will be able to demonstrate high standards of delivery in a consistent manner, be committed to improving achievement across all areas of your subject and have an understanding of the strategies required to accomplish this. Strong planning and organisational skills are required.

The successful applicant will be required to work collaboratively in a small academic team, sharing good practice and teaching groups. The post holder will also be expected to act as a personal tutor. The centre encourages professional development of the teaching staff and has an excellent supportive structure both in the delivery of the academic and pastoral programmes. Input into the development of the content and assessment of the current modules within the academic programmes is encouraged.

Applicants should be able to teach across a number of Business modules including Business Law, Economics and Human Resource Management and at the different levels of Foundation (Level 3), International Year One (Level 4) and Pre-Masters (Level 6).

Salary: Band D, £32,401 – £43,838. Salary is dependent upon skills and experience. London weighting of 13% applies
