Senior Microelectronics Supply Chain Risk Management Specialist

Invariant Corporation is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Microelectronics Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) Specialist who is experienced in Department of Defense (DoD) assurance processes and policies for microelectronics supply chain security; counterfeit microelectronics detection, awareness, and impact analysis for DoD programs; reviewing and understanding Parts, Materials, and Processes (PMP) plans; and understanding global microelectronics supply chains. This position will work in an office environment that supports a hands-on microelectronics assurance laboratory for the Army at Redstone Arsenal.

The successful candidate will:

• Have a deep understanding of the modern, global microelectronics supply chain
• Evaluate data from Government and Industry to understand emerging counterfeit microelectronics risks
• Drive process and workflow development for determining the impact of compromised microelectronics supply chains on DoD programs and systems
• Use industry-standard tools and processes to lead SRCM analysis activities for DoD programs and systems
• Analyze and understand the vendors in the microelectronics supply chain that provide components to various DoD programs and their relationships to one another

Requirements:

Candidate must have a bachelors degree in electrical engineering, or a related field, from an accredited university with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience is required.

• Five (5) or more years of direct work experience in SCRM-related analysis and activities for DoD programs and systems
• Ten (10) or more years of work experience related to supply chain analysis, vendor audits, or commercial/government microelectronics quality assurance.
• An advanced degree may substitute for years of experience at the discretion of the hiring manager.

Required Skills:

• Assist in the development and review of standards, policies, and procedures related to DoD SCRM activities.
• Plan, lead, and conduct technical efforts related to SCRM activities including vendor audits, supply chain analyses, and counterfeit component impact analysis
• Interface with a broad range of Government and DIB audiences and conduct technical meetings
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team embedded with a Government customer
• Strong documentation skills
• Strong communication skills
• Strong project management skills

Preferred Skills:

• Understanding of microelectronics reliability and failure analysis
• Deep knowledge of SRCM-related processes and tools used within the DoD
• Fundamental knowledge of common microelectronic components (FPGAs, SoCs, microprocessors, etc.) and how they are typically sourced and used within DoD programs and systems
• Familiarity with standard procedures for microelectronics qualification and testing for DoD programs and systems

Requires ability to:

• Obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance or Secret Clearance with PR within 6 years
• Occasional travel may be required depending on project requirements
• Work well in a small, fast-paced, and mission-driven environment with co-workers, management, and client
• Demonstrate innovation, quick learning, excellent communication skills and adaptive thinking
