As part of our exciting growth plans, we are now seeking a Qualitative Research Analyst/Qualitative Researcher to join our European Project Management Team. The successful candidate will be actively involved in the delivery of European Commission grant-funded projects where Inventya Ventures is a key delivery partner (e.g. H2020, Horizon Europe, Erasmus+, LIFE, ICT-Agri, ERDF). As the portfolio of projects involves stakeholders across UK and Europe, the role will involve some travelling.

The role

• Work with the European Project Management team to manage the delivery of EU-funded projects
• Support the project lead by undertaking qualitative research aspect of the project and analysing the results
• Conduct both online and F2F qualitative research methodologies to gather data and insights
• Support recruitment and facilitate workshops and debriefs
• Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders from various industries and disciplines
• Undertake additional market research activities as required by individual projects (e.g., undertaking analyst responsibilities that demonstrate their critical thinking skills to support an evidence base at a strategic level)
• Review literature, case study and assist in writing project reports
• Support project dissemination activities

Skills / Experience

• Excellent research and communication skills
• Comfortable interacting with a range of internal and external stakeholders
• Experienced in designing and conducting both digital and F2F qualitative research methods (e.g interviews, focus groups, stakeholder immersion workshops) is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skill
• A degree in science/technology is desirable but not essential. However, a passion for science and technology and an ability to grasp emerging technical concepts are essential.
• Innovative and creative problem-solver
• Strong planning and organising skills with attention to detail
• Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills
• Self-starter able to generate and develop opportunities, identify opportunities and lead programmes of work.
