IOSIS Limited Looking for Counsellor at Manurewa, Auckland Full Time

Iosis operates as a multi-disciplinary, multicultural, Christian, community service provider with a vision to equip families to be safe and strong together.

We seek an experienced Counsellor with a proven understanding and ability to work effectively with children, couples and families with high complex needs and issues related to family violence, care and protection, parenting and addictions. 

This role has the flexibility of been able to engage with whanau in person or online depending on the needs of the whanau whilst working from home, at our Manurewa site or from our parenting residential site.

The successful candidate will demonstrate an:

• Ability to work sensitively and appropriately from a cross-cultural perspective
• Excellent communication (oral, written and listening) and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Excellent administrative skills and competency on standard Microsoft office applications and databases.
• Previous experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment.

This is a full-time position. A qualification and registration in counselling, and previous experience counselling within a social service agency is a requirement of the position.
