IQVIA Hiring For Associate Director / Director, Legal at Singapore Full Time

If you are a lawyer with outstanding legal skills – a self-starter who enjoys working hard and being continually challenged, this is an exciting opportunity for you to be part of IQVIA’s regional legal team in Singapore. With a high degree of autonomy, you will be responsible for providing legal advice across the full range of legal matters affecting IQVIA’s business across the region.

You’d be responsible for drafting, negotiating and advising on strategic commercial agreements with IQVIA’s customers and partners. You will work directly with the business, providing day-to-day advice to our stakeholders and support projects and programs, resolving issues that arise.

You should have strong written and oral communication skills, and demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations.

Who we looking for:

We are seeking a proactive and organised lawyer who has the following experience and attributes:

• Qualified lawyer, ideally in an APAC, US, UK jurisdiction
• Minimum 6 years of working experience in reputable law firms and/or in multinational corporations
• High level of integrity
• Self-driven, optimistic and be keen to work as part of a professional and closely-knit team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment / experience in communicating and collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills, creative and pragmatic problem-solving skills, business acumen
• Highly organised with excellent time management skills

Responsibilities:

• Providing strategic and pragmatic legal advice to business stakeholders on all legal issues relating to IQVIA’s business
• Identifying legal risks, drafting risk mitigation strategies and providing practical and effective solutions to the business’ complex operations
• Providing timely contract drafting and negotiation for IQVIA’s full suite of contracts
• Supporting the development and launch of key initiatives, including the development and delivery of training programs
• Advising on IQVIA’s compliance with data protection laws
• Managing external counsel (as required) with a focus on obtaining cost effective, high quality, pragmatic and timely advice, on time and within budget.
• Developing and maintaining relations with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure IQVIA’s interests are well-represented
