IsI Enterprises Looking for Frontend Software Engineer at Herndon, VA Full Time

IsI Enterprises is seeking a highly motivated Frontend Engineer to be an integral part of a fast-paced agile development team. The developer will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and supporting an industry leading software platform. As a Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for implementation, design, development, and technical quality of the frontend of our software platform.

Job Responsibilities:

• Write high-quality, scalable, reusable code following software best practices to create pixel perfect user interfaces.
• Work closely with internal and external API’s and backend engineers to establish best practices for models and contracts.
• Collaborate and work to design and plan new user interfaces to ensure they are performant, responsive, user friendly, and following style guidelines.
• Collaborate on a fast-paced agile team through pull requests, scrum ceremonies, and feature documentation.
• Collaborate with key stake holders to ensure delivery of high-quality features in a timely manner.
• Ability to translate needs between technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications:

• Must be a United States Citizen
• 3+ years professional experience building responsive, user-friendly web applications
• Proficient understanding of base front end development technologies including HTML/CSS/JavaScript
• Significant experience with JavaScript frameworks using libraries like jQuery, React, Vue.
• Experience using best practices when working with REST APIs
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Experience in developing secure web applications and knowledge of application vulnerabilities such as Cross Site Scripting (XSS), Cross Site Request Forgery (CSRF) etc.
• Knowledge of git and its principles

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field, or equivalent work or military experience
