Primary responsibilities include developing and implementing the Salmon Recovery Program in accordance with the goals and objectives of federal/state laws and organizing, directing, and coordinating all phases of the program.
Employee in this position is given significant discretion within the scope and policy and regulations in the performance of his/her duties. The individual in this position reports directly to the Department of Natural Resources Manager. Oversight may be provided by the Public Health Director.
Position may be hired at level 1, 2, or 3 dependent upon qualifications.
Salary:
NRS I – $25.63/hour
NRS II – $27.96/hour
NRS III – $30.28/hour
Ability to successfully complete various required training classes and to obtain certificates necessary for functional skills performance, maintenance, and improvement with the latest advances in the management of natural resources and nonpoint pollution prevention.
Valid Washington State Driver’s License. Complete County administered WA State Patrol background check.
