Reporting to the Leader, Learning and Performance Support, the Analyst provides support and recommendations in the planning and implementation of Learning and Performance Support within Island Health. The Analyst is responsible for the monitoring and analysis of learning technologies including design, development, metrics and reports. The Analyst performs strategic and operational analyses to make recommendations and proposals on learning technologies. The analyses and advice may include the development or review of policies, procedures, reporting methods, business practices and/or work processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Training And Experience
A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Education, Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience and three (3) years’ recent related experience preferably in a healthcare field.
Skills And Abilities
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills to develop progressive, creative and innovative solutions.
Knowledge of self-managed team principles and techniques
Knowledge of learning technologies such as Moodle and SharePoint.
Ability to organize work
Ability to present and prepare concise analyses, reports and recommendations to multidisciplinary audiences
Ability to work independently and as a team member
Exceptional communication skills including conflict management
Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills
Physical ability to perform the duties of the position
