NFA [A division of ISO Ltd] is currently seeking candidates to fill a number of new positions that have become available at Port Otago, Dunedin. These are full-time and/or casual roles and would suit suitably experienced candidates with a good work record or previous waterfront experience seeking start a career in an exciting industry.
Successful candidates will undergo training in all aspects of stevedoring and log marshalling, including training to operate machinery such as Cranes, Diggers and Material Handlers.
Candidates must be prepared to train and become multi-skilled and be able to travel and work at other NZ ports on a regular basis to support our other operations.
Other minimum requirements include holding a clean full NZ driver’s licence and proof of a NZ work visa [if required] and most importantly a safety conscious and positive can-do attitude with the willingness to learn and grow into the role.
We offer a working environment where Safety is the #1 priority and where Zero Tolerance on drugs is critical. All candidates must be prepared to undertake pre-employment drug testing and regular random testing.
NFA is an established South Island based waterfront logistics service provider specializing in log marshalling and stevedoring and more recently have added bulk products and project cargo. The business is now establishing a dedicated team at South Port and this is a great opportunity to be a part of this exciting new development at the port.
NFA and ISO Ltd Stevedoring staff require full COVID vaccination in order to work at the border in accordance with NZ Government regulations. Candidates selected will need to provide proof of a COVID vaccination prior to work and be prepared to pass a pre-employment drug test.
