ISS Facility Services Hiring for Waste Operative – Weekend Job at Dún Laoghaire , Ireland Full Time

Location –Pottery Rd, Dún Laoghaire, Dublin, A96 F2A8, Ireland

Days Per Week -Sat-Sun (11.00pm – 8.00am

Total Hours Per Week: 16

• Collection, segregation, storage and disposal of all waste as per Policy on waste Disposal
• To collect and transfer all waste from designated areas around the site to the waste compound on a regular basis or as requested
• Gather and relocate bins between waste collection points
• Provide assistance for storage of bailed and other prepared waste for collection
• Advising Facilities when requiring to order consumables such as drums, refuse bags additional bins etc.
• Ensure waste compound is kept safe, clean and tidy with everything labelled in accordance with procedures
• Liaising with Waste Removal and Disposal Company in daily operations accordance with site procedures
• Assistance in loading trucks for transport of hazardous waste.

Qualification Required:

· Must have full legal rights to work in the country. Evidence will be required

· Previous waste operative experience would be advantageous

· Leaving certificate or equivalent experience.

· Certified Forklift License would be advantageous

· Basic Microsoft office knowledge

Experience Required:

• Previous waste operative experience would be advantageous

HSEQ:

• Ensure safe work practices and procedures are followed on site
• Use of Personal Protective Clothing and Equipment (w/a)
• Understand how ISO fits into daily business operations
• Read, understand and work in accordance with the company’s HSEQ Policies
• Complete tasks in accordance with company HSEQ procedures and work instructions

Other features of the job:

It may be necessary to work alternative hours, shift patterns or unsociable hours, including weekends and sometimes more than contracted hours. As part of your job, you will be expected to attend training events and/or meetings and travel to other locations may be required. Local requirements will govern your patterns and locations of work.
