Operating in the B2B space, and with a global presence, this business is building out further internal capability to deliver on several key business initiatives, centred around uplifting their customer & user experiences.

As a Lead Front End Engineer you will enhance online experiences for the existing client base, utilising your UI expertise and Component Library / Design System knowledge to positive effect. You will also work on building and shipping updates to the core platform in line with the product roadmap.

This hands-on role will provide strategic insight on new ways of working through extensive and ongoing research while working alongside of UX design and the business to turn ideas into beautifully crafted responsive web applications.

To be successful in securing this role, you’ll have at least 5 years commercial experience, including substantial hands-on involvement in front-end development.

• Extensive experience with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript. Experience with Angular preferred.
• Experience building out reusable components
• Actively contributing to workflow enhancement and testing / Unit testing (Karma / Protractor)
• Strong knowledge of the UI/UX design practices and concepts to create highly interactive interfaces
• Experience building out micro-interactions
• Working knowledge of backend technologies (Node.JS, Java)
