Ixom Operations Pty Ltd Looking for Export Shipping Coordinator at Newmarket, Auckland Full Time

Your role

We currently have an opportunity for a motivated and dynamic Export Coordinator to join our broader Supply Chain function.

Reporting to our Supply Logistics Lead and based in our Newmarket Office, this role will effectively and efficiently manage the export coordination process for our international logistics team through your strong planning and management skills.

This is a fast paced, highly dynamic position that will suit a very organised and driven individual from the export or freight forwarding industry.

Your responsibilities

• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, provide a high standard of customer service
• Prepare and execute forward shipping plan to meet order requested delivery date
• Receive & process all bookings & documentation relating to outbound shipments
• Monitor shipping schedules and adjust export plan
• Creation of the sales order based off the customer’s purchase order and stock availability
• Ensure accurate and timely entry of all pricing information in SAP
• Report incidents in Velocity, determine root cause and raise corrective actions
• Maintaining Pre-Export Notifications and/or permits as required per export compliance
• Ensuring that Data Management Forms and Export Procedures are completed and updated
• Liaise with ISO coordinator, product managers, supplier, and transport companies to manage the process
• Manage export orders through reporting from the freight forwarders

Your skills & experience

• Experience in an order management, customer service, freight forwarding, international logistics, distribution scheduling and or shipping role
• Knowledge of Dangerous Goods will be preferable to this role
• Previous sea freight experience and shipping experience
• Excellent customer service and communication skills both written and oral
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build meaningful relationships with all stakeholders
• Strong experience using the Microsoft Suite, coupled with SAP knowledge would be advantageous
• Highly motivated, driven, and organised individual who masters the art of prioritising
