J.New Books Hiring for Sales Representative, Books at Remote Full Time

We are looking to fill two positions, direct-to-consumer sales and book trade sales of our current and new titles. Both positions will require the successful candidate to exceed budgeted sales within an assigned customer demographic.

Direct-to-customers sales: The successful candidate should have sales experience and be a self-starter able to work independently. They will have to be able to devise and implement a sales strategy that can meet or exceed the sales quota for a title in a given month by establishing relationships with customers and retailers outside of the book trade industry.

Book Trade Sales: The successful candidate should have experience working in the publishing industry, preferably experience working in sales for a trade book distributor. They will need at least a working knowledge of the trade book industry. They will have to establish and maintain sales relationships with booksellers in the book trade. (bookstores, libraries, etc)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
