We are seeking a proactive and motivated Accounts Payable Officer with proven experience to join the team at our Palmerston North Support Office.

This role is the perfect opportunity for someone with a head for numbers, and who has been working in a similar fast paced environment to join a well-established Accounts Payable team.

About the role:

You will be will be using advanced Accounts Payable systems, reconciling invoices and accounts, and building relationships with our suppliers and branches so you will have confidence and great negotiation skills.

You will also need to demonstrate a high level of customer focus with a willingness to problem solve and go the extra mile. You will be responsible for timely and accurate processing, and resolving problems.

It is really important that you have excellent planning and organisational skills, are totally customer focused, and can bring your positive attitude and commitment to the team.

With full training and support on offer, we will be setting you up to succeed in this role.

Skills and experience requirements:

• Previous experience working in Accounts Payable, or a suitable financial role
• Strong reconciliation skills, and a high level of competency in Microsoft excel
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously
• Problem solving skills

Proven experience and an ability to work quickly, accurately and efficiently are essential.
