About the Opportunity
As the CE Marking Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our projects meet the necessary regulatory requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, regulatory authorities, and clients to ensure our projects adhere to relevant standards, thereby ensuring patient safety and project excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, and management of CE marking activities across our biopharmaceutical, and API/Pharma projects.
Stay abreast of the latest EU regulations, directives, and standards applicable to API and biopharmaceutical equipment.
Collaborate with Engineering teams to develop and implement strategies that ensure compliance with CE marking requirements.
Conduct risk assessments and identify potential regulatory challenges, proposing and implementing effective solutions.
Complete Ignition hazard assessments and work with vendors to deliver design solutions.
Prepare and review technical documentation, including design dossiers, technical files, and risk management documents, to support CE marking applications.
Provide training and guidance to internal teams on CE marking requirements, regulatory changes, and best practices.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role within the biopharmaceutical, or the API/Pharma sector.
Deep understanding of relevant EU regulations (Machinery and ATEX directives) and standards (e.g., ISO 13485) related to equipment.
Proven track record of successfully leading CE marking projects.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to assess complex technical data.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
Proficiency in project management and organizational tools.
