About the opportunity
You will provide day-to-day management of all facility services and activities within the Cork office. You will also provide primary leadership and direct supervision of facility support staff within that location. You will be required to perform a specialized role independently and as part of a global team and use judgment based on experience to evaluate situations and develop solutions. This position manages own workload, may delegate assignments to other team members, and provides on the job training to new team members.
Key accountabilities
Ensure that office is provided with the equipment, supplies, and services necessary for daily operations.
Manage office overhead budgets and monitor related financial reports. Provide local office input to annual business planning.
Communicate with office staff regarding any facility or service issues and serve as onsite contact for building management and local service providers.
Support and communicate with local office line of business leadership.
Support facility Health and Safety, Emergency Response/Disaster Plan, and Business Continuity plan, tasks and reporting in accordance with any local legislation and requirements.
Support office sustainability tasks and reporting.
Assist in ensuring the security of the physical office space in alliance with corporate security guidelines; ID badge creation, access card management, communication regarding emergencies, etc.
May perform tasks normally handled by reception, mailroom, or general facility support staff in small offices, or manage a small team.
