The Principal Business Leader for our Wellington Transport team will provide leadership, governance and business development for our Wellington Transport Business and play a key role in the overall leadership of the Wellington Office. A senior leadership role in the national transport business with a key focus on successful project delivery, business development / work winning, coaching, mentoring and supporting the Wellington Transport team. This role will be a key contributor to the overall all growth of our Transport Business and Wellington office; will often act as the client face for the Wellington Transport team and

provide senior governance and project directorship to our Wellington and national projects. This role will monitor and respond to changes in the industry, have strong client connections and an ability to navigate complex negotiations and outward focused discussions. Other key responsibilities include:

• Lead the bidding and delivery of key projects in the region
• Monitor and mitigate risk on projects
• Assist in quality assurance of our deliverables ensuring high quality outputs and outcomes for our clients
• Lead and manage business development for the Wellington Transport Business
• Provide technical leadership in field of specialisation

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• You will hold relevant tertiary qualifications and significant industry experience within a similar consultancy environment.
• Sound market knowledge and ability to work at an operational and strategic level
• Solid background in leading and motivating teams, project delivery, client relationship management and a strong technical and commercial background
