The client is seeking a talented and experienced Backend React Developer to join our dynamic team in the field of eCommerce and B2B (Business-to-Business) solutions. As a Backend React Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining robust and scalable backend systems that power their eCommerce and B2B platforms. You will collaborate closely with their frontend developers, designers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend systems using React, Node.js, and other relevant technologies for our eCommerce and B2B platforms.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate frontend components with the backend, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and other web services to facilitate data exchange between the backend systems and external partners or systems.
• Develop and optimize database schemas, queries, and data models to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code while adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of backend applications to identify and resolve issues, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in backend development and eCommerce technologies, and evaluate their potential application to improve our systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and provide support and guidance to other team members when necessary.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to maintaining a positive and collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Backend React Developer, with a focus on eCommerce and/or B2B solutions.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React, and Node.js.
• Solid understanding of backend development principles, including server-side rendering, asynchronous programming, and RESTful architecture.
• Experience with database technologies, such as SQL and NoSQL, and proficiency in writing optimized queries.
• Familiarity with backend frameworks/libraries, such as Express.js or Koa, and knowledge of serverless computing is a plus.
• Understanding of frontend technologies and concepts, including HTML, CSS, and responsive web design.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and experience with collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
