We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to provide valuable insights and support data-driven decision-making processes. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of eCommerce, subscription models, and web tagging methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis: Collect, organize, and analyze large datasets from various sources, including web analytics tools, CRM systems, and transactional databases, to identify patterns, trends, and correlations related to eCommerce and subscription models.
• Reporting and Visualization: Develop clear and concise reports, dashboards, and visualizations to effectively communicate data insights to stakeholders, enabling them to make informed business decisions.
• Data Quality Assurance: Perform data validation, cleansing, and integrity checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of data used for analysis and reporting.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to eCommerce and subscription models, and provide regular reports on performance metrics, identifying areas of improvement and potential growth opportunities.
• A/B Testing and Experimentation: Design and implement A/B tests and other experimentation methods to evaluate the impact of different strategies, features, and optimizations on user behavior and business outcomes.
• Web Tagging Implementation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and development, to ensure proper implementation of web tags and tracking codes for accurate data collection and measurement.
• Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc analysis to address specific business questions or challenges, utilizing advanced analytical techniques and statistical methodologies as needed.
• Data-driven Insights: Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis, supporting strategic decision-making processes.
• Data Privacy and Compliance: Adhere to data privacy regulations and ensure compliance with data protection policies when handling sensitive customer information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience (X+ years) as a Data Analyst, preferably in an eCommerce or subscription-based business environment.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, such as SQL, Excel, Python, R, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Knowledge of web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and experience with web tagging implementation.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques, such as regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and segmentation.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality results within deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
