Position Profile:
Brief Description

A 12-month contract position reporting to the Director – Hematology Oncology, Medical Affairs. The PharmD resident will perform tasks that contribute to the development and execution of the Canadian medical affairs plans. Specific tasks include:

1. Canadianizing global medical affairs content for local medical team

2. Preparation of scientific and medical slide decks for use in educational activities

3. Contribute to preparation of documentation and materials for advisory boards/consultant meetings

4. Consolidation of medical research findings for presentation to medical and brand teams

5. Operations related to Patient Assistance Programs

6. Other tasks as required

Essential Functions

• Literature searches on topics of interest in Oncology, Hematology Oncology and Neurosciences
• Preparation of medical training materials and presentation slide decks
• Assistance with operations and analytics related to Patient Assistance Programs
• Summarizing scientific and clinical data and preparing reports for medical and brand teams

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Clear and concise communication and presentation skills
• Self starter, comfortable working individually and in teams
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Ability to research, critically analyze and communicate complex scientific and medical information and data
• Excellent planning and organization skills, with high-level attention to detail, accuracy and depth of knowledge
• Ability to embrace change and work in a flexible work environment
• Scientific and business acumen

Required/Preferred Education and Licenses

• Currently enrolled and completed at least 1 year in a PharmD program
