DIRECTOR OF MARGIN MANAGEMENT
We are seeking a Director of Margin Management to increase revenues and reduce costs for the Pork Primal Department by working with and through other departments to maximize profit.
RESPONSIBILITES:

• Lead team of Primal Specialists
• Manage JBS pork product position by primal through forward price projection
• Collaborate with Sales and Primal Specialists to develop and implement pricing strategies for various markets and channels
• Coordinate contract pricing with Sales and Senior Management
• Review and interpret reports designed for maximizing profitability
• Manage and review margin by primal, contract code, customer, and channel
• Create and conduct formal presentations when necessary
• Conduct periodic audits of compliance pricing within primal and Accounting to ensure accuracy
• Ensure compliance with USDA regulations concerning price reporting
• Manage SGA budget versus actual expenses
• Identify and resolve issues around price and margin
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS/BA Degree in Agri Business, Meat Science, Marketing, Economics, Ag Econ, Animal Science or Agriculture related field preferred
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Pork related fields including Sales, Procurement, Scheduling, Operations, etc.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Organizational and multi-tasking skills a must
• Superb verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent phone and strong presentation skills
• Effective problem solving and decision making
• Must be team oriented with a desire to work in corporate office environment
• 40+ hours per week
• Estimated 10% travel
• MS Office Suite applications a must
• Web Ex, MS Teams and virtual/remote platform systems a must

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

• 
  Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
• 
  Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
• 
  401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
• 
  Base salary range of $130,000 – $170,000 and
• 
  Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
