JENNMAR Services Hiring for Fireboss at Valley Grove, WV Full Time

JENNMAR Services, a staffing company specializing in employee placement for the energy industry, is seeking Firebosses for the Dallas Pike, WV areas. Position may help with Black Hat jobs as well.

Pay Rate:

$40 – $44.45/hr

Schedule:

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday – 3am-3pm

or

Monday through Friday 7am-3pm (Acting as a RH Boss)

Position prerequisites:

• WV Foreman or Assistant Foreman Certification.
• Up-to-date annual refresher.
• Up-to-date WV Foreman Continuing Education
• Previous experience firebossing.
• Valid driver’s license.

Job Responsibilities:

• Examining the surface and underground work areas of the mine including airways, bleeders, and belts.
• Identifying hazardous conditions including roof, dust, gas, and equipment.
• Checking and recording gas readings in proper books.
• Conducting pre-shift and on shift examinations.
• Other duties assigned.
