An opportunity now exists for a Desktop Support Engineer to join the Technology team and support the organisational goals and objectives through the delivery of highly professional technical support and assistance to the firm while meeting the organisations goals and objectives.

Key responsibilities

As part of a national team, the successful candidate will:

• Resolve and provide proactive support and attention to logged ticket requests
• Conduct installation, configuration of desktops, laptops, peripheral equipment and software
• Identify, log and resolve technical problems with software applications or network systems
• Manage staff movements and allocation of equipment as well as the purchasing, allocation.
• Identify potential changes and system improvements to present to senior team leaders for consideration and implementation

Required skills and experience

• Strong customer service focus with a positive and proactive approach to client service
• Ability to work unsupervised as well as being able to work as part of a team in a fast paced, high pressure environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Time management skills with the ability to prioritise and work under pressure
• Excellent problem solving skills;
• Strong attention to detail producing accurate work in a timely manner
