The Director, Oncology Learning & Development has a growth mindset and is passionate about crafting a learning culture for field medical and internal medical affairs teams. You’ll support medical affairs initiatives by developing and delivering clinical, skills, and capabilites training. The learning programs you build will prepare medical science liaisons and other medical affairs colleagues to educate and conduct scientific exchange with Healthcare Providers and Opinion Leaders, to support the clinical research program, and to provide internal scientific support.
Key Responsibilities:
Demonstrate a passion for learning and development that translates into a dedication to build successful teams.
Incorporate principles of instructional design to develop and implement effective learning solutions that address critical needs.
Leverage knowledge of hematology oncology portfolio, clinical savvy, and scientific engagement skills to ensure learning solutions meet the needs of our partners.
Leverage diverse learning technologies and identify innovative new technologies to build an efficient and effective user experience that drives learner engagement.
Develop, adapt, and lead short- and long-term project plans, accounting for timelines, compliance constraints, business needs, budget, and available resources to optimally meet objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to leverage knowledge and share resources.
Use learning and operational insights to identify training needs and learning metrics to see opportunities to improve.

Required:
Minimum 8 years in pharmaceuticals or healthcare – prefer Oncology experience, and Solid Tumor is a plus
5 years of experience in Medical Affairs strongly desired

Creating strategy, managing a budget and executing on key goals and objectives
A coaching mindset and leadership capabilities
Preferred:
Experience as a medical science liaison, medical affairs, and/or learning & development
Experience leading an L&D team is preferred
