Job Details
–

Payroll Specialist under the supervision of the Director of Payroll, will ensure accurate payroll processing and recording of they payroll. The Payroll Specialist will provide timely and accurate payroll reports, as well as ad hoc reports, and perform daily data entry and review of workflows for all payroll and HR functions.

• Provides excellent Customer Service efficiently and timely to residents, families, co-workers and vendors in areas of compensation, taxes, benefit deductions, timekeeping, and workflow changes
• Understands al aspects of payroll in regard to payroll laws and regulations
• Regularly audit all timecards, process edits, and retain paperless audit and approval files
• Process any/all garnishments received, including follow up correspondence, updating payroll system and maintaining electronic filing system
• Review and process all payment request forms for payments outside of the regular earnings, such as commission, bonus, and appreciation pay
• Process all terminations and final manual checks
• Prepares periodic reports as needed by department supervisor or Executive Director of earnings, hours worked, sick days, vacation days.
• Is available to answer employee questions or concerns regarding their paycheck and benefits.
• Reviews all leaves in the system to confirm accuracy of leave and return dates in comparison to the timecard and integration of hours during a leave
• Assist with CMS reporting every quarter, including running reports and following up with each community.
• Assist with review of quarterly tax package
