• 6 months contract, renewable
• Working location: Nearby Pioneer / Boon Lay MRT
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ability to communicate conceptual ideas and design rationale, all within a user-centered design process.
• Illustrate compelling scenarios/storyboards quickly to facilitate discussion for ideation and product usage.
• Understand user experience design requirements and convert it to design inputs.
• Champion design excellence within teams, illuminating the difference between “good” and “great” work, and inspire teams to get there.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop new products, services and businesses that address a variety of challenges—from research and prototyping through implementation support.
• Work on projects that spread across product development, print, packaging, video storytelling, brand identity, and interactive projects for screens, devices, and space.
• Align with proposed design direction and bring in the voice and emotion to the project through thoughtful features and initiatives.
• Bring both a strategic eye and a depth of craft in brand and communications design to the project teams.
• Develop brand packages for products, including colour schemes, images, typography, and themes for multiple applicable mediums.
• Manage/partner with vendors with unique skill sets to execute and deliver design projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the design industry.
• Degree in graphic design, animation, communication or related field.
• Excellent drawing skills with a creative mind to bring new perspectives to the design.
• Possess knowledge of storyboarding and animation will be an advantage.
• High proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and other Adobe Suite Tools.
• Ability to spark ideas and generate fresh concepts and inspire peers.
• Able to follow approved designs and direction and produce consistent output.
• Comfortable with ambiguity.
• Self-motivated, able to prioritize and manage workload and meet critical project deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships.
