Full Job Description – Located in Mariposa and must be willing to re-locate. We are approximately 45 minutes East of Merced and just a little over three hours to San Francisco.

John C. Fremont Healthcare District (JCFHD) is looking to hire an admitting clerk for our clinics. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of specialized clerical duties relating to the scheduling and admitting of patients for clinic visits. Operates Clinic telephone to relay incoming, and interoffice calls. Performs various related duties, such as greeting patients, billing functions, and accurate and timely data input. We are looking for individuals that can effectively communicate with patients, doctors, and hospital staff members. This position is responsible for properly interviewing patients or their representative to obtain complete, accurate insurance information required. If you have excellent customer service skills, flexible to work in all our clinics and prior two years of clerical work experience, preferably in an insurance or medical field, we have a great opportunity for you! Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 – $24.01 per hour
