Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Manufacturing Systems Lead located in Des Moines, Iowa, you will lead the adoption of the core manufacturing technology stack across Crop Care and Specialty Harvesting global manufacturing locations. In addition, you will:

• Lead global projects and initiatives towards greater digital manufacturing solution efficacy, drive solution convergence for the benefits of reduced development lead time for John Deere manufacturing units, and reduced costs of technical debt

• Train, inform and educate lead users across all CCSH manufacturing locations on how to utilize core solutions most effectively

• Support units with issues, inquiries, or troubleshooting for process-related issues not requiring new development

• Act as the CCSH CoP lead to development work that facilitates faster adoption of the core manufacturing technology stack

What Skills You Need

• 5+ years’ experience working with digital manufacturing solutions in a factory environment (such as, but not limited to, JDAAT, DeereMES, AMES, MPPlanner, Ignition, SAP, PDMLink.

• 3+ years with demonstrated project leadership & development of large projects – technology or innovation projects, production capacity projects, Factory Master Plan, or capital projects

• 5+ years in a manufacturing engineering, quality, operations, or material flow role

• Must be willing and available to travel 30% to 40& (Domestically and Internationally?

• Demonstrated leadership in large change management initiatives

• Proven learning agility and rapid mastery of digital manufacturing solutions

• Proven ability to creatively solve problems that match business processes or process issues with applied technology solutions

• Demonstrated ability to train and coach users on how to best utilize technology solutions and software

• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex subjects across multiple levels of the organization

• Experience working at multiple units, product lines or divisions

• Advanced degree (MBA, Data Science/Analytics, Master’s in an engineering discipline)

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
