Title: Senior Product Engineer – 97381

Onsite/Remote: Onsite Position

Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Product Engineer in Combine Production Support (CPS) Team located in East Moline, IL you will be the technical lead for CPS Design engineers to support day to day production for Combine and Front-End Equipment (FEE). In addition, you will:

• Lead cross functional teams in problem resolution in production, and work with Cross Development teams to execute design changes to improve safety, productivity, warranty and cost of our product

• Mentor, onboard, and develop engineers to support Combine and Front End Equipment production; including interns, EDP’s, and contingent resources

• Coordinate solution to production issues with Customer support and Module and Distributional Team to keep production running

• Experience solving difficult technical issues

• Ability to communicate with individuals or teams of diverse backgrounds

• Ability to adjust communication to technical and non-technical audiences in both written and oral forms

• Experience using data to drive decision making

• Provide work direction for contingent and other employees

• Experience working with multi-disciplinary cross functional teams to implement performance enhancements, product improvements, and process improvements

• Ability to identify risks, determine root cause, identify solutions, and execute path forward

• Ability to articulate and answer questions regarding technical issues and solutions

What Makes You Stand Out

• Strong organization skills and attention to detail

• Experience in a cross-functional (hardware, software, manufacturing, order fulfillment, product support) team experience

• Experience with Deere engineering design systems (i.e., CREO, Windchill, SAP and PowerBI)

• Familiarity with Deere machines – especially combine and Front-End equipment in operational or manufacturing environment

• Demonstrated technical project leadership

• Six Sigma certified

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

• Bachelor’s Degree of Engineering
