POSITION: Senior Brand Manager

REPORTING TO: VP, Brand

LOCATION: New York, Hybrid.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a highly motivated, creative, and organized Senior Brand Manager to join John Hardy. In this role, you will oversee the development and implementation of strategic plans to ensure that our brand is effectively communicated to our target audiences. As a Senior Brand Manager, you will have the opportunity to help shape our brand’s voice, drive business objectives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams within the company. To be successful in this role, you must have a passion for understanding customer needs and behaviors, a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, and a track record of successful brand management.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The Senior Brand Manager supports Brand Marketing in the planning, briefing and executing of seasonal Marketing programs and new product launches that meet our business goals and brand standards
• Leads the development of Key Selling programs including Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, and Father’s Day from strategic brief to content delivery
• Owns the development of John Hardy’s Gifting strategy including GWPs
• Works closely with channel owners including Social, PR, VM, Email, Media, eCommerce, and global partners to support our integrated marketing efforts
• Works closely with cross-functional partners including creative and merchandising
• Supports ideation of storytelling for the brand’s content needs
• Collaborate effectively with regional and local country marketing teams to deliver effective & sustained marketing plans
• Leverage consumer insights to inform briefs and initiatives effectively
• Tracks regular reporting including campaign results and hindsight
• Manage timelines and process for seasonal reviews and leadership sign-offs
• Keep abreast of industry and market trends, competitive set, research lifestyle and design trends.

DESIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• 5-7 years of brand marketing experience.
• Experience working with luxury brands, jewelry preferred.
• Ability to take direction, multi-task and manage shifting priorities.
• Ability to react quickly with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to execute at a fast pace.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to navigate a team environment and build cross -functional partnerships.
• Ability to give concise and actionable feedback to various levels.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
