Jones Hamilton Co. Hiring for Customer Service Representative (CSR) at Walbridge, OH Full Time

Jones-Hamilton Co. a manufacturer and distributor of chemical products used in animal agriculture, food processing and the consumer and industrial products is seeking a Full Time Customer Service Rep.

The Customer Service Rep is responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as communicating effectively with team members within the customer service department.

Responsibilities:

• The Customer Service Rep provides timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests.
• The Customer Service Rep processes customer orders/changes/returns according to established department policies and procedures.
• Each Customer Service Rep works closely with the credit department to resolve disputed credit items.
• Provides timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns.
• The Customer Service Rep partners with the sales team to meet and exceed customer’s service expectations.
• Serves as a liaison between the customer, manufacturing, and shipping personnel.
• The Customer Service Rep schedules daily outbound shipments with carriers and supply locations.
• Completes all invoicing and shipping documentation in a timely manner.

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred.

Requirements:

• Two plus years of customer service experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Desired Skills:

• Ability to handle diverse activities simultaneously.
• Demonstrated experience performing extensive research to resolve customer inquiries.
• Ability to interact effectively with internal and external partners and customers.

Essential Functions:

• Ability to see, sit, read, write and have good five-finger manipulation.
• High level of concentration and attention to detail for long periods of time.
• Ability to read and understand complex, technical material and clearly communicate information in writing or orally.
• Maintain a cooperative working relationship with office, lab, production, loading and field sales personnel.
• Must have good judgment, speaking ability and light mathematic ability.
• Ability to use a computer terminal, laptop computer and a calculator .
• Speak and hear clearly in order to handle a multi-line telephone system with excellent communication skills.
• Follow spoken and written instructions.
• Patience and courtesy when working with people.
• Ability to multi-task.

Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
