CCB Risk builds and supports JP Morgan’s Consumer Line Of Business’ infrastructure to ensure credit & fraud Risk professionals have access to the tools and information necessary to drive success. In partnership with Consumer LOB IT teams, Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI), Chief Risk Officer teams and others, we deliver solutions that meet the requirements of our key clients – the JPMorgan Chase CFO and Corporate Finance Organizations, JPMorgan Chase CRO and Risk organizations .
Our team
CCB Risk tech is structured into agile products and the architecture team has architects supporting each of the products and other architects working on cross cutting concerns such as information architecture and public cloud migration. The team creates architectures working with product owners, developers and architects from other areas. Manages the roadmaps and regularly participates in meetings with senior executives to discuss the architecture & direction.
Role Description
As the Lead Risk Architect, you will oversee the work of the other architects to ensure the individual product architectures align into a holistic architecture across all of Risk Tech with common architecture principles and roadmap. The Lead Architect will be need to know all aspects of the holistic architecture such as business functionality, information architecture, public cloud usage, to name a few. The Lead Architect will regularly work with and communicate to senior business leaders on the strategy, Heads of Architecture in other areas outside Risk tech and CIOs. The Lead Risk Architect is the backup for the Chief Architect for Risk.
Working side by side with senior business leaders and technical owners, define and manage the strategic 2 and 3 horizon views and roadmap.
Participate in strategic discussions to determine product directions.
Manage the public cloud roadmap and align it with roadmaps from dependent areas and firm goals.
Identify when tactical solutions are not in line with the strategic direction.
Communicate architecture and direction to CIOs and Chief Risk Officers.
Participate in firm wide architecture forums and steering committees.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree or related relevant work experience
10 – 15 years of Information Technology experience.
Previous architecture experience and experience working with senior level business and tech leadership.
Deep understanding of some architecture patterns such as microservices or big data.
Demonstrated ability to learn new architecture patterns and business processes.
Strong oral and written communications skills.
Ability to communicate technical solutions & issues to senior business leaders.
Experience managing other architects.
Experience with Domain Driven Design is a plus
