Who are we looking for?
We have an opportunity for a self motivated Junior Developer who will be responsible for the development, enhancement, and support of our internal and external Database Management Systems. Ideally, you:

• Have 1-2 years of general programming experience (Microsoft .Net and database applications preferred),
• Familiarity with Access, SQL, and database programming,
• Ability to write SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, and reporting,
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work with a team and follow project timelines,
• Familiarity in Agile Development, Source Code Control and Jira Software, would be beneficial,

What will you be doing:
Reporting directly to the IT Manager, and part of a well-established and close knit supportive team, your responsibilities will include:

• Development, enhancement, and support of code for applications using VBA and Visual Basic,
• Writing and optimisation of SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, and reporting,
• Providing support for StarVale Systems & Users,
• Collaborating with the development team to analyse requirements and design solutions,
• Participating in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of coding standards,
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions that ensure data accuracy and consistency,
• This is an opportunity to part of the team building our next generation database applications; a project that is expected to last several years
