JOB PURPOSE:

The HR Representative has an active role in multiple HR processes. With a heavy focus on full-cycle recruitment and creating reports in excel. Source, interview and present qualified candidates and compile reports related to affirmative action reporting, applicant flow, and turnover data.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Screening resumes and applications.
• Embraces curiosity by asking the right, probing questions to understand the true nature of a team member’s inquiry.
• Participate in recruiting activities such as, representing Jupiter at job fairs, producing offer letters, initiating background checks, and conducting orientations Screening resumes and applications.
• Source candidates through various recruiting methods, including advertising, job sites, social media, etc.
• Schedule and coordinate interviews
• Perform in-person, phone, and virtual interviews.
• Perform background checks.
• Coordinate pre-employment testing.
• Maintain an organized workflow by monitoring and following up on all items assigned, including seeing problems through to resolution and closure with team members
• Conducts or assists with new hire orientation.
• Adhere to laws, rules, and regulations.
• Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, turnover, etc.
• Post internal jobs and analyze job descriptions and revise them as directed.
• Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and well organized.
• Highly analytical with a natural curiosity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as with a team.
• Proficient and comfortable using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Great time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to create and implement process improvements.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:

· Regularly required to walk, stand, sit and talk or hear in person or by telephone.

· Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

· Use hands to handle, feel, or operate standard office equipment.

· Occasional reaching with hands and arms

· Regularly lift 10 pounds.

· Regularly apply reasoning and common sense.

· Use muscles to lift, push, pull or carry objects.
