Starting Pay: $5.93/hr Plus Tips (Average: $250 – 500 per day)

Job Summary

The Server position at our restaurant plays an integral role in ensuring our customers have an exceptional fine dining experience. The right person will be passionate about food and service, and thoroughly enjoy creating excellent experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a friendly, outgoing disposition, and previous experience working as a server in a fine dining, bustling, fast-paced restaurant setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Greet customers warmly and introduce them to the food and drink menu
• Memorize our food and beverage menus and make recommendations to dining room customers
• Take food and beverage orders and enter them into our system in a timely fashion
• Provide attentive service to customers by checking in during meals
• Promptly address customer service issues and refer customers to management when necessary

Skills Required

The applicant should have

• 2+ years of server experience
• Knowledge of Sushi & Japanese Cuisine

• Able to keep up in a fast-paced work environment

• Knowledge of food service regulations is an asset

• Able to stay on your feet for an extended period of time and lift up to 25 lbs, unassisted

• Excellent written and verbal skills

• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends

• Excellent time management

• A proactive attitude

• Ability to work in a large team is necessary
