Kamala Tech Pty Ltd is a technical and administrative services company supporting custom e-commerce/e-gaming environments used under license by B2B operators and resellers in the Asia region. We add value in the accounting, legal and IT technical field through providing cost analysis, BI reporting services, project management, sourcing legal and tax opinions, training, and support.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to provide ownership, technical leadership, and mentorship to a team of specialised IT professionals during an exciting period of company growth and development.

Joining as part of the Kamala’s IT team, you will: –

• Design, develop, document, test, implement, and support the architecture of our customer’s BI ecosystem, including all relevant data transfer mechanisms, data lakes, data stores and warehouses.
• Analyse, interpret, and evaluate system architecture specifications and diagrams used in the development and configuration of data warehouse systems
• Troubleshoot complex software and data flow problems and implement resolutions
• Develop software to improve the efficiency of BI-related processes and spearhead initiatives to increase automation within operational IT teams
• Understand larger business requirements and align technical strategy with business goals
• Develop and encourage a supportive team atmosphere that facilitates the accomplishment of goals, and upholds schedules and deadlines whilst maintaining and implementing technical standards
• Fulfill the essential willingness to travel extensively within the Asia Pacific region.

We encourage you to apply if you have: –

• Tertiary level qualification in an IT or IT-related field
• Minimum 5 years of practical experience in an online or e-commerce environment
• Minimum 2 years experience working with public cloud technologies, including AWS and Azure
• Strong communication skills, and an ability to interact directly with customers when required

Salary: $120,000.00 – $165,000.00 per year
