Kanbrick Hiring for Chief Executive Officer – Marine Concepts at Lake Ozark, MO Full Time

Kanbrick is excited to announce a CEO search for Marine Concepts, an enthusiast brand platform specializing in the production of innovative boat covers based out of Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri. The business is growing rapidly, with a differentiated product, enthusiast customer, and attractive economics. We are seeking a driven, high achieving, people-focused leader who can scale the business to a $100 million brand and execute on near-term organic growth opportunities in the cover business, while building and driving a long-term vision and strategy for the broader platform.

Marine Concepts boasts attractive operating margins and growth opportunities. Reaching full potential will require the CEO to drive and improve on the existing growth plan, while also exploring M&A opportunities, building a dealer network, establishing the brand, optimizing marketing & sales, and ensuring operational scale capability.

Kanbrick is a long-term investment partnership that buys, builds, and grows great businesses. The CEO will have the strategic and financial support of Kanbrick to navigate choices around operations, strategy, team, products, and acquisitions. Industry experience is not required though enthusiasm for the boating, marine and adjacent businesses is a major plus.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of building a clear strategic plan, delivering financial and strategic goals, and creating a culture focused on accountability and continuous problem solving. They will have high emotional intelligence, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build trust with internal and external stakeholders.

Through effective leadership, mentoring, and motivational skills, the CEO will have demonstrated the ability to attract, develop, and retain a strong leadership team as well as employees across the organization. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strength across all major areas of leadership – commercial, operations, strategy and growth, people & culture.

Ideal locations for this position include Florida, Lake of the Ozarks, MO, Nashville TN or Charlotte, NC.
