Requirements for Healthcare Assistant

• Have started/completed QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or equivalent is desirable
• A positive, outgoing, friendly personality
• Excellent communication skills
• Are reliable, dedicated, diligent and trustworthy
• Fluent in English both verbally and written
• Ability to work effectively and positively as part of a team
• Commitment to delivering high quality care services
• Experience would be an advantage

Responsibilities for Healthcare Assistant

• Deliver high quality care and assistance to our clients as per their Care Plan – personal care, toileting, meal preparation, moving & transferring
• Observe, listen and engage with clients
• Be punctual and manage time effectively
• Communicate any changes or concerns in relation to Client needs/care
• Adhere to Health & Safety and Infection Prevention and Control regulations;
