About The Role

KB Seafood Co are excited to be opening our new Seafood Processing facility in Morningside, and we are looking for experienced Forklift Operators to join us.

This is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor as we commence our full-time operations in Morningside.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking and packing goods for orders
• Goods receival/put aways
• Moving and rotating stock
• Stores and Warehousing
• Forklift Operations – including High Reach
• Traffic Management
• Manual Handling
• Loading and unloading truck
• Checking / cycle count
• Assisting with other warehouse operations as required

To be suitable for this role you must be able to demonstrate:

• A strong work ethic
• Accurate picking skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a team environment in cold temperatures
• Good Communication Skills
• Sound understanding of all WH&S Protocols
• Computer Skills including experience with releasing orders

Essential Requirements

• Full Australian work rights
• 2 Years’ experience in a similar inventory role
• Be able to work in a cold storage (freezer and chiller) environment
• Current Forklift Licence
• QLD drivers’ license & reliable transport
• Experience in food industry, especially Seafood, highly regarded

Previous experience working in cold storage (freezer and chiller) environment will be highly regarded.

Successful applicants will need to provide a minimum of 2 current references, a current Police Clearance Certificate, and attend a pre-employment medical with drug & alcohol testing.
