PATRIOT Hardware Engineer

KBR is seeking a Senior Electrical or Mechanical Engineer with in-depth knowledge of the PATRIOT Missile Defense System. The candidate should have extensive background working on Missile Defense Ground Support Equipment along with managing other engineers to work on related efforts. An ideal candidate possesses knowledge of the Department of Defense Acquisition Process and System Engineering principals as well as experience with PATRIOT system hardware, subsystem hardware, obsolescence mitigation, and new technology integration. Additionally, the candidate should be experienced with hosting and/or supporting Integrated and Cross-functional Product Teams, Technical Interchange Meetings and Reviews, Program Management Reviews, and Engineering Technical Discussions.
Applicants should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the capability to lead projects and present analysis and technical data at meetings in support of KBR’s customers. A prime candidate has excellent interpersonal skills and is capable of working with a team of fellow engineers as well as mentoring junior engineers. A minimum of 20 years of prior experience in this role is required.
