An exciting temporary opportunity exists to join a leading financial institution in Auckland, New Zealand, within a collaborative team environment.
Multiple positions are available in the compliance team to assist with a key KYC & AML Remediation Project, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
Paying $35.00 – $45.00 per hour, depending on expereince.
Responsibilities
- Onboarding, setup, and maintenance of customer portfolios.
- Performing customer due diligence for client and investor verification.
- Investigating and resolving missing or inconsistent information.
- Reviewing AML/KYC submissions to ensure regulatory compliance under the AML/CTF Act.
- Resolving issues to avoid escalations and mitigate risk.
- Providing advice on compliance and regulatory requirements, particularly related to AML, KYC, FATCA, CRS, PEP, and sanctions checks.
To be considered:
- Expertise in AML/CFT & KYC.
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Knowledge of the regulatory environment for retail investment products (preferred).
- Ability to work independently with excellent time management.
- Proactive risk management approach.
This is a temporary 4-6 month position, with possible extensions for high performers.
