JOB TITLE: Plant Maintenance

REPORTS TO: Owner

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: The Plant Maintenance is responsible for repair and maintenance of corn sifting, sorting and conveying machinery and corn storage facilities.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain equipment per required schedule and update all documentation

Make repairs to equipment as needed

Ensure sanitation and safety procedures are followed and documented

Make general repairs on bins and buildings, as needed

EDUCATION & TRAINING: High School Diploma or GED

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

-Mechanically inclined

-Basic knowledge of general repair skills

-Handy with tools

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

– Effective communication skills

– Positive attitude

– Punctual and reliable

WORK ENVIRONMENT – Work in corn cleaning plant facility and storage, not centrally heated or cooled, with occasional moderate physical exertion and occasional climbing of heights required.

HOURS/SHIFTS – Monday – Friday from 8am until 5pm. Occasional overrtime as needed to complete job requirements.

SALARY – $70,000+/year

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour
