Job Title: Data Manager

Location: San Diego area or Remote

Reports to: Sr Director Data and Systems Architecture

Status: Full-time

Compensation: $90-120K

Position Summary

Data Manager is a crucial member of the Systems and Data Architecture team and works with various teams to improve data accuracy and completeness within the core Enterprise Systems. Manages team of Data Analysts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintain the data quality and integrity among the core enterprise systems
• Develop standard operating procedures for data accuracy and completeness with attention to all technical aspects
• Create or write reports to identify inaccuracies and data quality issues
• Perform need-based tasks and work with other IT/Data personnel to enhance the existing reporting/analytical databases
• Help in design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Enterprise Data Catalog
• Manage and develop a team of resources in delivering the projects
• Work with business stakeholders to understand and document the business processes
• Improve the business processes in collaboration with Customer facing teams to drive the efficiencies

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies

Knowledge:

• Proficient with PostgreSQL, MS Excel, Tableau and/or Looker
• Knowledge in enterprise applications like NetSuite and Salesforce is a plus
• Knowledge of Data Engineering and Integration among various systems is a plus.
• Jira and/or Confluence experience highly preferred but not required
• Should be able to clearly articulate the Data, Systems and their architectures.
• Data Governance, Metadata and Master Data knowledge is a plus.
• Facilities and Building maintenance services industry

Educational Qualifications/Job Experience Requirements

Experience Required:

• 
  Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing resources, including data-driven teams and orgs

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Certification in data analytics and data management is a plus
