Job Title: Landscape Crew Member
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Reports to: Landscape Manager
Status: Full-time
Position Summary
As a member of a crew, performs general landscaping for assigned client locations (e.g. Hedge cutting, mowing, weed whacking, sweeping, leaf/debris collection). Ensures safety regulations and company policies are followed. Works as a team member to effectively and efficiently perform work that meets contracted work orders and meets customer satisfaction.
These are hourly, non-exempt, full-time positions. Se Habla Español.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday; available to work weekends.
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Work Shift: 6 am – 3 pm
Reports to: Zone Manager
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
· Properly clock in and out for each location as prescribed by Company policy
· Perform landscaping activities including but not limited to mowing, weed whacking, hedge trimming, sweeping, pruning, edging, leaf/debris waste collection and disposal, general sidewalk, walkway cleaning
· Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing, removing thatch, or trimming or edging around flower beds, walks, or walls
· Safely use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes
· Confirm water systems are working properly, ensuring proper irrigation, and perform general adjustments and/or report maintenance issues required
· Ensure work performed covers all work outlined in the work order (contracted specifications)
· Mix and spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, or trees, using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders
· Work as a team to perform services safely, and efficiently
· Follow the assigned schedule
· Provide excellent customer service
· Ensure customer questions or concerns are quickly addressed through appropriate policy channels
· May operate/drive sit on mowers and other small equipment
· Follow all safety regulations as outlined for equipment operating
· Follows Company policies, guidelines, and related safe handling of equipment and chemicals (for self, team, and public)

Experience Required:
· General lawn maintenance experience required
· Previous 1-2 years’ work experience preferred

Environment:
· Outdoors and subject to performing work in inclement weather conditions within reason and safety

· As a member of the crew (with the team – in Company truck)
