CORPORATE AFFAIRS JR. ASSOCIATE

The Corporate Affairs Jr. Associate, supports various External initiatives as part of Kellogg’s Corporate Affairs team in the Latin America Region.

Responsible for actioning media and digital media tactical plan addressed to key external audiences . Grow the digital business by driving the best experience across business digital channels. Lead the tactical plan and content development to increase external media and digital experience. Through collaboration and cross functional partnership with our Marketing, Philanthropy, Brands and other key teams, ensure that we are providing our key audiences with an optimal experience that drives brand engagement to the business.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Corporate Communications:

• A Corporate Communications Specialist is responsible for supporting the KLA Corporate Communications Manager in advancing Kellogg brand reputation in the Latin America.
• Working cross-functionally, the Corporate Communications Specialist will play an important role in increasing visibility for key corporate topics including sustainability, Inclusion and Diversity, Corporate Social Responsibility, Business and Innovation among external stakeholders.
• This role requires strong writing skills as a key qualification and will also support crisis communications, proactive media relations and the drafting of messaging documents and press materials.
• Works closely with external communication/PR agencies across the region to give follow-up to assigned tasks.
• Executes daily morning and evening media monitoring of relevant news related to the business, the region and the competition on digital media and social channels.
• Elaborates a variety of executive reports for key regional and global leaders, sharing media performance after corporate communication campaigns/efforts.
• Manages C3 workflows for press releases or other corporate communications materials.
• Manages “Amplify” for the region, the global channel designated to build our Employer Branding positioning.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, Business Administration, Marketing or related field with a thorough understanding of communications principles and practices.
• Excellent communication skills, including advanced written, oral and visual communications
• 1 to 2 years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, media or social media roles.

• Excellent management capabilities.
• General knowledge of graphic design and video platforms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Language skills – Spanish, English (written and spoken fluent)

Preferred:

• Ability to demonstrate innovative thinking and possesses a positive, can-do attitude to provide great and agile client service.
• Produces high-quality work for a wide range of media, including written, digital, video, social media and presentation materials.
• Ability to work independently, as well as effectively within a team.
• Must be highly detail oriented and have exceptional organizational skills to meet tight deadlines, and juggle multiple priorities.
• Experience in project & agency management.
• SharePoint and/or digital media experience.
• Crisis management experience is a plus.
