This is a well-respected and leading integrated commodities group, with an impressive asset and client base globally. Due to its continued focus on Asia as a growth market, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a high calibre Treasury Manager to partner one of its largest revenue contributors.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Global Head of Treasury, the Treasury Manager will be key in providing advisory and markets expertise to support the segment in its growth endeavours. The Manager will drive strategy development and play a lead role in evaluating, structuring and executing of cash and trade finance solutioning. Due to a large customer and commercial presence in China, the Manager will be responsible for establishing, maintaining and enhancing the Company’s RMB financing capabilities, as well as its trade finance bank relationships with Chinese based counterparties. In addition to the core day-to-day responsibilities, the manager will also play a significant role in the Group’s digital transformation.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be a degree holder in finance/ business studies, with 10-15 years’ work experience in broader treasury, particularly within commodities trade finance. RMB treasury capabilities will be viewed upon favourably for the reasons stated above. You will be described as commercially astute with excellent communication skills, with the ability to navigate large and complex organisations. You will also possess a keen eye for detail and highly meticulous.
