Responsible for the coordination of loading and delivery of all inbound and outbound products on a daily basis, around 40 drivers, including the preparation of necessary documentation. No personnel report to this position.
Schedule:
- Full-time
- Monday- Friday – occasional weekends – once a month rotating weekend/on call.
- 3pm – 3am
- Flexibility to work overtime/holiday as needed is required
Compensation and Benefits:
- Pay rate will be based on experience, between $23 to $24 per hour

Position Responsibilities:
- Dispatch delivery routes to insure they are delivered safely, geographically, efficiently, and comply with all federal regulation and internal policies.
- Communicate with Sales and Operations involving any special orders or requests and keep the Warehouse supplied with routes to build.
- Maintain TMS / SAP programs with current and accurate customer information.
- Insure all reports are completed and copied to Branch Manager, Operations Manager, Area Sales Manager and Operations Supervisors by the end of shift.
Characteristics for Success:
- Prior experience using Roadnet or similar Transportation Management software preferred.
- Able to communicate via phone and email in a timely and professional manner.
- Able to problem solve in a fast pace environment using department guidelines to triage requests.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
- 1 year of prior dispatching / routing experience in logistics / supply chain management environment
- 1 year of Microsoft Excel experience
