Responsibilities

About the Team

You will work as a member of an agile development team to develop and maintain features for a product called VSA (Vector Signal Analyzer). This position is a great opportunity to expand your existing programming skills and learn about engineering topics with a well-trained and professional team.

About The Job

As a R&D Software Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to develop both user interface and application code. Some of the topics you will learn include modern C++/C#, techniques for debugging code, and using design patterns. Additionally, you will be testing the application and helping with documentation. The primary development tools we use are Microsoft Visual Studio and Git.

Qualifications

Job Qualifications

• Pursuing your BS or MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Strong communications and problem solving skills.
• Programming knowledge in one of the following languages: C/C++/C#/Python/Java or similar language.

Keysight Internship Program Requirements

Candidates who wish to be considered must be enrolled in a accredited college/university as of September 2024. Applicants who have graduated before September 2024 will not be considered unless they are entering/applying to a MS or PHD program after graduating.

Visa Sponsorship is not available for this position. Candidates who now or at any point in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B Visa status) may not be considered. This also applies to candidates who will not currently need sponsorship for an internship but will need sponsorship in the future for non internship positions.

California Pay Range: $31.00 – $40.50

Based on experience, education and skills, most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed above.
