Kforce is searching for experienced and professional project Cost Accountants for our premier client in the San Antonio, Texas (TX) area. This company has excellent and competitive compensation. Full benefits are available while on this engagement.The Cost Accountant will: * Account for the cost of transporting product through truck, rail, and pipeline; This Cost Accounting team is responsible for calculating those costs for the P&L * The Cost Accountant verifies invoices are billed to customer’s accurately and completely * The Cost Accountant records of revenue and operating expense accruals and adjustments, and performing analytical reviews on results of operation for assigned assets * Responsible for accounting for several logistics assets in a timely and accurate manner and in accordance with company policies * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or Finance preferred * One to three years of work experience preferred * Basic understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) * Ability to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment * Highly motivated and team-oriented individual * Detail-oriented * Proven analytical skills * Advanced Excel Experience – Pivot tables, LOOKUPs and SUMIFs * Professionalism * Teamwork ability * Adaptability * Results oriented * Self-Development Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
