Kforce’s client, one of the world’s most iconic and exciting entertainment giants in New York, NY is seeking a Financial Analyst.Summary:In this role, the Financial Analyst will play a key role in coordinating the financial reporting and key analytics. They will assist in the oversight of financial statement audit process, run analyses on financial performance, assist with ticket sales reporting, and other key deliverables during the annual business cycle. The Financial Analyst will work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.Responsibilities: * Collect projection data for a rolling three-year period, vet the information, and ensure reporting consistency * Run benchmarking analyses on projection submissions and provide added value insights to leadership * Support the preparation of the year-end accounting memo which provides insight into distributions and payments, tax reporting updates, benefit, and insurance costs, etc. * Assist with ticket reporting on a weekly basis and ensure that all parties are submitting their respective data timely and consistent with reporting requirements * Identify and make suggestions for improvements when problems and/or opportunities arise * Handle, manipulate and analyze data and information responsibly * Follow risk management and compliance procedures * Keep up to date with developments in area of specialism * Research accounting guidance as necessary * Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance * 2-3 years of experience in public accounting, financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, or other strategic finance roles * Comfortable working with large data sets and manipulating them into summary level and trend reporting (pivot tables, etc.) * Proficient in Excel (Index/Match, V-Lookups, and macros knowledge a big plus), PowerPoint * Experience working with data sets, including extraction and merges from source systems, transformation, and providing preliminary descriptive analytics * Strong professional competencies including attention to detail, resourcefulness, responsiveness, flexibility, initiative, and follow-through * Experience in Adaptive Planning is a plus Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
